Everyone worth Knowing

So, this is just going to be an update to appease all of the "anonymous'" out there. Mate, feel free to write over whenever you feel like you have something to blog about (which I thought you did, but you haven't blogged yet) So, this week I read the newest novel by Lauren Weisberger, the author of "Devil Wears Prada" and I have to say I was very disappointed. Her novel was the exact same format as the DWP. This dorky kind of chubby girl, well the book makes her out to be chubby but in reality she's probably a size 6 so that makes me obese but whatever, she quits her job as a banker and magically lands this job at a PR firm where she becomes a who's who in New York's social scene and then her life gets out of control and she loses her friends....and is this starting to sound familiar? So, I read the book in about 2 days because I really just skimmed it since I knew what was going to happen. Let's see what other updates I have, Aaron and I booked the reception site and are now looking at the tens of millions photographers, florists, dj's, and whatever else comes along with a wedding. My ring is a little loose on my finger so I'm taking it today to get sized to my finger :( i've managed to put that off for 3 weeks but Aaron and my mom are driving me crazy to take it to get sized because if I lose apparently I might die. That's really all for now, and I hope everyone has a great weekend.

I'm gettin' he-otched, beotch!!

What's up foolio's. So, as blogworld may or may not know, Aaron and I are makin' it official and getting MURRIED. WHAT WHAT? I know, I was just telling Aaron that as soon as we get married that we're going to have to act like a-dults. EEk. He asked for the ring back. Nooooo, just kidding he didn't. Half the time I still can't believe it's real and can't get used to calling Aaron my "fiance" instead of that goofy guy I hang out with all the time. (I'm just full of jokes tonight) So, the proposal was AWESOME and we got engaged at the very first Starbucks in the whole entire world in the fabulous town of Seattle. If that sounds cheesy to some of you, then shame on you!!! It's not. Aaron and my meeting was one of fate as we met outside of Starbucks amongst thousands of people on New Year's Eve in 2004 about 10 minutes before midnight. And no, I did NOT give him a kiss at the stroke of midnight. My parents raised me with morals and they include not kissing strangers. Anyway, I'm soooooooo glad that we are engaged now and if you all are nice then we'll invite you to the wedding!!!! So, these pics are of my face when Aaron asked me, literally and the big fat (phat) rock that now adorns my left hand. If it's tacky to show the ring, I don't care, it's my blog and don't read if you're offended!!!!

******UPDATE******The date of this infamous wedding has now been decided: MAY 26, 2007. Mark yo' calendars.

Run FARR-RIS run!!!

I love to run. And lately (well, since March 29th), I've had a spear in my side in the form of a severely sprained ankle. But yesterday when I went running, I didn't think one bit about my ankle, about how tired I was from being out late on Saturday night, or even how hot it was for 7:30 PM. I was running all out. Have you ever just run at full speed for your whole run? It feels REALLY good. I had no reason to do it that way, I just liked how it felt. It hurt, but in a good way. Usually when I run, I find myself smiling at people as they pass and having all kinds of chipper, happy thoughts. I think that I have these thoughts because running is something that I can succeed at during a day where I may have failed at other things. But during this particular run, I felt like I was running off a lot of stress and anxiety. If I could just run faster, I can make myself feel better about the first day of school coming up. If I make my body hurt more, then maybe my ankle will suddenly not be injured anymore and I'll be able to run the half-marathon. The more I ran and the more it burned, the less I thought about other worries. Anyone else had this experience with anything? I often wonder what people do if they don't run or bike or hike or something. Hmmmmm.

The biggest airport EVER

Alright, get pumped world, cause here we are at Moore County Airport the biggest and best airport this side of the Mason Dixon line. When we told my dad where we were flying out of, his response was the best, "Excuse me?" You see, we are flying from Pinehurst, NC to Atlanta en route to Seattle (we're on vacay) and most people don't know there is an airport here. But let me tell, YESSIREE, there shore is. And boy is it nice. You can't beat the customer service. The person who checked us in, took us through security, took our boarding passes and is our flight attendant. We are best good friends. She really likes my hair cut, but too bad for you Sally Mae at Moore County Airport, there's only one place you can get this 'do and it's not in Pinehurst.
Can you guess which one is our plane?
